About the work process

Together with students and friend colleague fatma yücesoy tokgöz, we planned the project "Unknown stories of heroes of my city". ; When students have a desire to learn and study the history of their city and heroes, this is first of all a joyful fact for me, but at the same time it was a great responsibility for me, we knew that we would need time, a lot. Work and better study of modern technologies. We searched and created stories, and then published them on the blog, although the students worked very intensively on the project, I think the topic is not finished yet, because the issue is very big.

A project poster was created

interviewing interesting people, creating visuals, uploading and making video resources, creating an informational blog in English, making brochures; as well as joint visits of entire working groups to museums and libraries. A group of photographers worked separately, the creator of the social network "Our Home" worked separately, who shared all the information with the general public from time to time; It is difficult to prepare these materials without the help of modern technologies. We have shared materials with international platform users.

· It is an amazing feeling when you study historical material with students, at this time we are no longer teachers and students, we are just employees, we often argue about which issue to cover, it took us a long time to sort the recorded material, Skype discusses which issue to sort out. We sat at the computer for hours discussing what modern technologies needed, how much the programs helped us turn our ideas into real work; When I saw how the students worked, I felt that this process was necessary for them, the skills that they developed in school, in the teaching process, enabled the students to think better, understand and plan the work process;

The project lasted for 4 months, most of our planned activities are completed, we have some gaps - only scanty information about some heroes.

Analysis: We are well aware that we are short of archival material, unfortunately we did not save it this time, we have already planned various research activities, to search for additional materials and we have already written the work schedule of the new project.
