 Today, when it is most important to present one's country in an interesting way, the most important thing for all people should be how to introduce the cultural heritage of one's place, country to people living in other cities or other countries. Through this project, students will study and understand the historical past of their city and country, the achievements of those people who left a concrete mark in history and created the future in which we live. Students will try to introduce the history of the heroes of their area to all interested people, compare the cultural heritage of their country with the culture of friendly countries, their achievements, highlight common characteristics and deepen cooperation. to exchange information. It is especially interesting for all students to find and get to know the stories of the heroes of their place, all this helps to strengthen the competences of research, literacy and citizenship in the student. To introduce friendship, communication and subject competences between countries.

Brief objectives of the project

          The project aims to:

 The student should develop the ability to research, obtain information and organize the historical values ​​of his area;

 Students should develop their positions regarding a specific issue;

 Students should be able to take a critical approach and defend it;

 Students should be able to integrate the knowledge obtained in different subjects in relation to a specific issue;

 Pupils should introduce the acquired knowledge to the general public in the form of a presentation and using various technical or printing means;

 Students should create the necessary resources, both in Georgian and in English.

 Students should look for common signs about the heroes of their country and their path.

 

Description of the process

Main activities:

 February: Students research materials about local town WWII heroes. Interviews are taken from the descendants of these heroes. They sort the material and prepare presentations. They create a project logo and a corresponding poster.

 March: Students create video collages based on the information found under the title Interesting stories of heroes of our corner. Photographs of these people are being investigated. At the previous stage, unknown details will be raised.

: April students create electronic books based on the material they have found. and evaluate with their own vision. They make comments.

: May The final resource will be created, bilingual manuals for interested people, two Padlet boards for participating schools where work materials will be placed in sequence of processes. A presentation will be held and the results will be evaluated. Materials will be uploaded to the blog.

 

Expected Results

           Based on the obtained material and based on the conducted research, the students will create bilingual books, posters, padlet boards, videos, on which unknown materials will be placed. Presentations will be organized where partner schools will present the results of their work. Also, the searched material will be posted on the Internet with all the news. The mentioned project helps students from different regions and sub-regions to make friends and develop their cooperative skills. They will be interested in the history of the people of their region, which is an important prerequisite for the protection and promotion of the values ​​of their country.
